Section splitter

Paste a long document and turn it into short sections you can tick off one at a time. It splits at headings and paragraph breaks, keeps sections near the length you choose, and shows how far through you are.

Stays on your device. Nothing you paste is sent or saved.

How to use it

  1. Paste the full text of a long email, report, contract or chapter.
  2. Choose roughly how many words you want in each section. Around 150 words is about two short paragraphs.
  3. Press Split into sections, read one section, and tick it off before moving on. Stopping at the end of a section gives you a clear place to pick up again.

Why sections

Breaking long reading into named parts gives natural stopping points and makes it easier to restart after an interruption. It is a practical approach, not a proven method for any one person, so try it on something real and compare it with how you usually read.
